August 29 Nancy Hinton and Judy Kleine completed Dementia Friends training with the Dementia Friendly Task Force in Vandalia. Hope Vandalia will be our next community on the Dementia Friendly Community Registry. This group was awesome and are helping us plan our Fayette County Conversation/Health Fair this fall. Good things are happening in Fayette County!

The Illinois Department on Aging will be in Mt. Vernon on September 6th to discuss the State Plan on Aging. Midland Area Agency on Aging along with Southeastern Illinois Agency on Aging, Inc. And Egyptian Area Agency on Aging, Inc. Will be there too. This is a great opportunity to come hear about the future and share your ideas.
